The USDA recently released its Grain Crushings and Co-Products Production report for February, reporting that corn use for ethanol production was up in December when compared to both the previous month and December 2022.Total corn consumed for alcohol and other uses was at 529 million bushels in December, up 4% from the previous month and up 11% when compared to the same month of 2022. Usage included 93% or alcohol and 7% for other uses.Corn use for fuel ethanol production reached 482 million bushels in December, up 5% when compared to November and up 13% when compared to December 2022. Corn consumed for dry milling fuel production and wet milling fuel production was at 91.9% and 8.1%, respectively.&nbsp;At dry mills, condensed distillers with solubles production fell to 95,8004 tons in December, down from both 122,984 tons the previous month and 96,964 tons in December of the previous year. Corn oil production was at 184,244 tons, down from 188,008 tons in November but up from 174,416 tons in December 2022. Distillers dried grains production was at 388,932 tons, down from 399,555 tons the previous month, but up from 317,504 tons in December of the previous year. Distillers dried grains with solubles production expanded to 1.95 million tons, up from both 1.8 million tons in November and 1.68 million tons in December 2022. Distillers wet grain production reached 1.41 million tons, up from both 1.37 million tons the previous month and 1.36 million tons during the same month of the previous year. Modified distillers wet grains production was at 482,524 tons, up from 453,944 tons in November, but down from 576,406 tons in December 2022.&nbsp;At wet mills, corn germ meal production was at 56,349 tons in December, down from 61,690 tons the previous month, but up from 48,546 tons in December 2022. Corn gluten feed production was at 245,983 tons, up from 242,462 tons in November, but down from 252,788 tons in December of the previous year. Corn gluten meal production reached 113,012 tons, up from both 110,684 tons the previous month and 99,585 tons during the same month of the previous year. Wet corn gluten feed production expanded to 209,818 tons, up from both 202,534 tons in November and 188,584 tons in December 2022.&nbsp;At dry and wet mills, carbon dioxide captured was at 205,725 tons in December, up from 198,060 tons in November, but down from 213,799 tons in December 2022.&nbsp;&nbsp;
