By | June 02, 2008
Ethanol Technology recently announced that it's now known as Lallemand Ethanol Technology as it's a part of the global Lallemand group. Ethanol Technology, a business unit of the Canadian yeast and bacteria producer Lallemand, was formed in 2004 as a part of Lallemand's acquisition of the Alltech alcohol business and integration of Lallemand's existing alcohol and distilling activities into a new business unit. Lallemand Ethanol Technology pledges to continue to provide comprehensive fermentation solutions to the fuel ethanol and distilling industries.

"Being part of the Lallemand group helps us to leverage the wide breadth of knowledge of its other business units into the ethanol industry," said Bill Nankervis, president of Lallemand Ethanol Technology. "One example is our working with Lallemand's Animal Nutrition Group to provide better quality [distillers dried grains with solubles] and antibiotic-free solutions, such as our PureMash antimicrobial partnership with Resonant BioSciences. Lallemand's strong commitment to research and development, and its synergistic business groups worldwide, enable us to tap into its extensive knowledge and experience to bring new and innovative products to the marketplace."
