On Dec. 16, Pearson Fuels held grand opening ceremonies for new E85 fueling locations in Pomona and Perris, Calif. In addition to enjoying food and refreshments, attendees were allowed to fill their flex-fuel vehicles with E85 for 85 cents per gallon. Pomona Mayor Elliott Rothman and city council members were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony in Pomona.

Also in December, a new ethanol blender pump opened at the Farmers Union Oil station in Warroad, Minn. The station celebrated the addition of its new fuel options by offering discounts on Christmas trees to customers who bought at least 8 gallons of fuel.
