Novozymes Inc. and Fiberight LLC produced an advanced biofuel from government waste paper for the 2010 Washington Auto Show held in January as part of a "Ride 'n Drive" event allowing government officials to test drive vehicles using the "trashanol." The advanced biofuel combined Novozymes CTec and HTec enzymes with Fiberight's process. In other news, Novozymes received an Advanced Energy Manufacturing Tax Credit of $28.4 million from the Obama administration in January towards the construction of its new enzyme facility in Blair, Neb.
