Biofuels Investment Act introduced

By | June 10, 2010
Legislation to initiate a new investment tax credit for advanced biofuels has been introduced in the House of Representatives and Senate. Rep. Paul Hodes of New Hampshire and Sen. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin of South Dakota introduced the legislation, which, if passed, would create a new 30 percent investment tax credit for advanced biorefineries through an existing federal treasury program. It would come in addition to the cellulosic production tax credit.
