The U.S. exported 149.97 million gallons of ethanol and 902,376 metric tons of distillers grains in January, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service on March 7. Exports of both products were up when compared to January 2023.The 149.97 million gallons of ethanol exported in January was down slightly when compared to the 155.64 million gallons exported the previous month, but up significantly when compared to the 117.82 million gallons exported in January 2023.&nbsp;The U.S. exported ethanol to more than three dozen countries in January. Canada was the top destination for U.S. ethanol exports at 57.74 million gallons, followed by India at 32.99 million gallons and the U.K. at 13.88 million gallons.&nbsp;The value of U.S. ethanol exports reached $338.54 million in January, down from $366.14 million in December, but up from $325.65 million in January of last year.&nbsp;The 902,376 metric tons of distillers grains exported in January was down when compared to the 992,827 metric tons exported in December, but up when compared to the 770,344 metric tons exported in January of last year.&nbsp;The U.S. exported distillers grains to approximately 30 countries in January. Mexico was the top destination for U.S. distillers grains exports at 249,582 metric tons, followed by South Korea at 146,439 metric tons and Indonesia at 71,647 metric tons.&nbsp;The value of U.S. distillers grains exports reached $254.78 million in January, down from $284.02 million in December, but up from $252.83 million in January 2023.Additional data is available on the USDA FAS&nbsp;<a href="https://apps.fas.usda.gov/Gats/default.aspx">website</a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;
